On May 21, 2013 the Jordan Cove Energy Project submitted its application to the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) seeking permission to site, construct and operate an LNG liquefaction terminal in Coos County, Oregon. FERC is the federal agency with primary responsibility to both analyze the impacts of the terminal as relates to the National Environmental Protection Act (NEPA) as well to ensure that the construction and operation of the Project adheres to the recognized safety standards. The Resource Reports included with the Application provide the supporting documentation that underpins FERC's technical assessment of the Project.
